Ruling Faces

If a Hispanic achieves success in the space of US territory, it’s not something to discuss with such interest. But, if the same Hispanic achieves success world (including the United States) then we can say he has created wonders for sure. The same happened with Luis Carlos Machicao who is a Peruvian fashion designer and got selected for the Paris fashion week for showcasing his spring 2014 collection after which he also got to present his designer fragrances (perfumes) among men and women.

“I feel proud to be the first Peruvian and U.S. Hispanic to present a line of clothing and fragrances at one of the industry’s most important fashion shows” – Luis Carlos Machicao.
This time, Machicao feels that the experience will be different but memorable. This time, it’s especial for him to bring his women clothing and perfume collection among the public. Till now, he has been designing for political and cultural celebrities along with social luminaries. Also, his experiences include eminent personalities from Latin America alongside.

Initially, Carlos was a local academic student (Peru) and came to know about a well accepted reality that human beings consider fashion as a social statement. In the continuation of this, his initial experiences include retro designs with a tinge of avant-garde pattern when he was working in a fashion studio of Paris.  He believes in fashion which is affordable and of a good taste.

He left Peru during 1997 and was shifted to Houston. He set a fashion studio of bridal gowns. Meanwhile he worked for Houston Grand Opera and beauty pageants that were organized locally. After that, he moved to South Carolina and Charlotte which he selected as his work center and home. He has been making the models strutting fashion runways of U.S. that included the cities: Austin and San Francisco along with Miami, Charlotte and New Orleans. Apart from this, he set the European (Milan, Barcelona) fashion shows on fire with his ultimate women clothing after catering for the audiences of New York and Washington in U.S.
